Tiergarten (German for Animal Garden) is a locality within the borough of Mitte, in central Berlin (Germany) on the left hand side of the conzert areal. Notable for the great and homonymous urban park. Before German reunification it was a part of West Berlin. We had bought an extra 4 cordless phones from Siemens type C3 and saved us the time-consuming assignment of a telephone call in the DDR landline
